We traveled from Nepal to Thailand a little over a week ago. From Bangkok we immediately caught the train north to Chiang Mai, curious to check out Pun Pun – Center for Self Reliance. We had heard wonderful things about this center from our friends and colleagues and wanted to explore different approaches to building and nurturing community and, more importantly, living abundantly but simply.

We were hosted by such a lovely community of gardeners, builders, dreamers and artists who provided a creative spark, a healthy dose of optimism, and a grounded-ness that is much needed as we round out our time in Asia and look towards our return to Colorado in a couple of weeks.
