This place makes me feel happy and curious,

Crashing waves and hanging vines, golden sand and gracious smiles,

The sunset over the Andaman hangs round like a mandarin,

Thailand is a place of wonder, of beauty and life…

This place makes me feel energized and thoughtful,

We align with the tides, humid humans like crabs drawn to the sea,

A wall of green behind, a jungle with layers of mystery,

Hushing waters, crashing waves, dense forest, playful otters…

This place is beautiful and delicate,

Spirit houses channeling magic, golden Buddha shining, butterflies fluttering,

We wonder what is out in the sea, darting and diving, pulled by the steady tide,

Playing in the waves, running through sand, walking under big trees…

May all beings be happy and have the causes of happiness, May all beings be free from suffering and the causes of suffering, May all beings have immeasurable peace, justice, and love in their life…
